The story of this build

The brief

A growing family wanted a refined Hamptons-style residence on a tightly held Graceville street, designed to entertain while preserving leafy outlooks across the rear yard.

The challenge

The block sloped to the rear and the brief required four bedrooms, a study, formal lounge, and pool — without the home feeling overbuilt for the suburb.

The solution

A two-storey design with VJ panelling, traditional weatherboard cladding, and a subtle setback that respects neighbouring rooflines. Internal volume was added through a void above the entry rather than footprint.

The outcome

A timeless street presence with the volume and amenity of a much larger home — delivered on time and on budget.
